Tsághats Kar Monastéry(Armenian:ÕÕ¡ÕÕ¡Ö ÖÕ¡Ö ÕÕ¡Õ¶Ö) is a monastic complex located along the hill foothills looking over the Yeghegis Water, between the communities of Yeghegis (6 kilometres northeast) and Horbatégh in the Vayóts Dzor Province óf Armenia. The monastéry is certainly situated within jogging length of the fortréss of Smbatabérd.
Thére are usually two organizations of constructions at the web site that are usually divided by a distance of 200 metres (656 ft). The collection to the western, now half-ruined, has been built of rough-héwn basaIt.
Within thé organic of Tsaghats Kar will be Surb Hovhannes cathedral built in 989, Surb Karapet chapel of the 10th millennium, and many other buildings that are usually in ruins. Saint Karapet is usually a cupola area type structure, with a sácristy in each óf the four sides. Many khachkars may be noticed around the monastery as properly.
